COMPETITION RULES
(OPEN CATEGORY)
(Limited to the first 32 teams)

ARENA DIMENSIONS : 30FT (W) X 48FT (L)
GOAL POST : 6FT (W) X 4FT (H)

1. ELIGIBILITY

The competition is open to all clubs or football teams throughout Sabah. A total of 32 teams will compete in this competition. Age for participation of all players 16 years of age and above. The flexibility is given to players who are 17 years old and below to play with the written permission of the player's parents. The competition is limited to the first 32 teams.

2. PARTICIPATION FEE

2.1. A fee of RM100.00 (Ringgit Malaysia: One Hundred) will be charged to each participating team;
2.2. Participation fees will be channeled directly to the IMAGO corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, "HOPE EXPRESS", located on the second floor of Imago Shopping Mall;
2.3. Payment and the entry form must be submitted on or before the closing date. Registration will be closed by October 31, 2019, 09:00 pm;
2.4. Registration submitted without the entry fee will be rejected, incomplete or late forms will not be processed. Any late registration application will not be accepted;
2.5. Participation fees will not be refunded to teams who withdraw from the competition after the polls are run.

3. REGISTRATION AND NUMBER OF PLAYERS

3.1. Each team is allowed to register up to 5 players and one team manager (if any) or team captain;
3.2. For each match, each team is allowed to present 3 players and 2 reserve players (goalkeeper is not required);
3.3. A player can only be enrolled in one team, if any player registers and plays more than one team, the participating team will be disqualified and the entry fee will not be refunded;
3.4. The Team Managers' Meeting will be held on November 11, 2019 at the Imago Shopping Mall Operations Office.

4. REFEREE

4.1. The organizers will provide qualified referees for each match;
4.2. All referees are deemed qualify to supervise the match and are registered under the Sabah Football Association (SAFA);
4.3. All decisions made by the referee regarding the facts relating to the rules of the Game are final.

5. COMPETITION RULES

5.1. The rules of the competition are subject to the rules of the Sabah State Football Association (SAFA) and the Organizer;
5.2. All matches are played on a league / team basis;
5.3. Points awarded according to: Win : 3 Points Draw : 1 Point Lose : 0 Mata
5.4. Only the top two teams from each group qualify for the next round. If the winning (victory) can’t be determined during the game time;
5.5. Once the number of points, the number of score and goal against (number of goal conceded by a team) are taken into account, the winner will be determined by the "Sudden Death" match. "Sudden Death" means any team that scored the first goal (Golden Goal) will be declared the winner and the match will end immediately.
5.6. Substitution of players can be made at any time, 3 (three) times of substitution player transfers can be made per match played for each team.
5.7. Each team is prohibited from taking players other than those who have been registered on the competition form. If it is found that any team is recruiting players other than those who are registered, the team's participation will be canceled immediately.
5.8. Players who do not follow the rules of the game will be charged with yellow or red cards depending on the referee;

5.8.1. Players who receive 2 (two) yellow cards during play will not be taken to the next game;
5.8.2. Players who receive red cards will be suspended in one (1) game later according to the offense through a disciplinary action by the organizer.

5.9. Each team must meet the time set by the organizer. If a team arrives late in the arena 5 minutes after the whistle blows, the team is expected to give a "Walk-over" to its opponent;
5.10. All teams are not allowed to intentionally give their opponents a free winning (victory). If that happens, the team automatically gets out of the competition and the matches are deemed invalid;
5.11. If a team or player is found to be a mess in the ongoing competition, action is taken;
5.12. Only registered players are allowed to stay inside the match arena. Supporters are not allowed to be within the designated competition area.

6. COMPETITION PERIOD

6.1. Each match will last 7 minutes with 3 minutes for each half-time (3 + 1 + 3) and 1 minute for the side exchange;
6.2. The semi-finals and finals provide 11 minutes of play time with 5 minutes for each half (5 + 1 + 5) and 1 minute for side exchange.

7. OBJECTION

7.1. Any objection may only be made and signed by the Manager / Team Captain only;
7.2. Any objection should reach the Secretariat at least 5 minutes after the end of the match;
7.3. Each objection must be accompanied by a formal objection form provided by the organizer and the processing fee;
7.4. RM200.00 (Malaysian Ringgit: Two Hundred Only) will be charged for each objection. The money will not be refunded whether the objection is successful or rejected by the Committee;
7.5. The decision of the members of the Disciplinary Committee is FINAL.

8. PLAYER ATTIRE

8.1. Each team is required to wear appropriate jersey and shoes;
8.2. If it is found that two teams are wearing the same jersey colour in the match, the first team to be called on the match schedule is required to wear a vest provided by the organizer;
8.3. Players are required to wear "Shin-Guard" during the game.

9. INJURY

9.1. The organizer will not be held liable in the event of any injury and loss of goods during the competition;
9.2. However, the organizers provided the services of St John Ambulance and the Public Service Department (JPA3) to assist injured players to be transported to accredited hospitals throughout the competition.

10. REMINDER

10.1. The Organizer reserves the right and is authorized to add, amend, reject and accept any of the matters set out in the above regulations;
10.2. Every team and player is NOT allowed to use drugs prohibited by the International Football Association (FIFA);
10.3 Each team and player is NOT allowed to break or do anything contrary to the laws of the country during this tournament;
10.4 The manager or team captain must ensure that each player maintains the cleanliness of facilities providesd. If a team is found to be in violation of these rules, appropriate action will be taken;
10.5 The team is responsible for arraging personal insurance coverage for personal use if it is deemed necessary.
