Magunatip, better known as “Bamboo Dance”, is considered as one of the most popular traditional dances in Sabah. The name “Magunatip” is derived from the word “apit”, which means “to press between two surfaces.” In the dance, dancers need good timing and agility to dance between the clapping bamboo poles, without trapping their feet.

The music tempo and the clapping speed of the bamboo will become faster and faster, so the audience will be impressed by the exciting ending. In the past, Magunatip was a warrior dance to welcome the return of Murut headhunters. Today bamboo dance is commonly performed in cultural functions and celebrations for entertainment and socializing purposes.

Magunatip, lebih dikenali sebagai “Tarian Buluh”, dianggap sebagai salah satu tarian tradisional yang paling popular di Sabah. Nama “Magunatip” berasal daripada perkataan “apit”, yang bermaksud “untuk menekan di antara dua permukaan.” Dalam tarian, penari memerlukan masa yang baik dan ketangkasan untuk menari di antara buluh bertepuk tangan, tanpa menjejaskan kakinya. Tempo muzik dan kelajuan bunyi bertepuk tangan akan menjadi lebih cepat dan cepat, sehingga penonton akan terkesan dengan pengakhiranya yang menarik. Di masa lalu, Magunatip adalah tarian pahlawan untuk mengalu-alukan kepulangan ketua pahlawan Murut. Hari ini, tarian buluh biasanya dilakukan dalam fungsi budaya dan perayaan untuk hiburan dan tujuan sosialisasi.

“대나무 춤”이라고 더 잘 알려진 마구나팁은 사바(SABAH)에서 가장 인기있는 전통 댄스 중 하나입니다.“마구나팁”이라는 이름은 “아핏(APIT)”이라는 단어에서 따온 것으로 “두 표면 사이를 압박하다”라는 뜻입니다.이 춤에서, 댄서들은 대나무 막대를 치는 사이에 발이 걸리지 않도록 좋은 타이밍과 민첩함이 필요합니다.음악의 템포와 대나무를 치는 속도가 점점 빨라져서 청중은 신명나는 엔딩에 감동을 받게 될 것입니다.과거에는 마구나팁은 무루트 인간사냥꾼의 귀환을 환영하기 위한 무도의 춤이었습니다.오늘날 대나무춤은 일반적으로 유흥과 사교를 위한 문화적 기능과 기념행사로 보통 행해집니다.
